Would Slackware Linux pass the Open Group’s Single UNIX Specification?
Would any Linux distribution? I’m a very experienced Linux user and have often wondered this. Most of the information on the Open Group’s site is too arcane for me to understand, however.
It looks to be VERY expensive, so I wouldn’t count on any Linux companies ponying up to get a meaningless stamp of approval. Nonetheless, would they pass if they did?
Not sure why you are asking this here. Why not ask this on one of the LUGs?
